WHEN THE CONSECRATED ELEMENTS
ARE INSUFFICIENT

If either or both of the consecrated elements are likely to prove insufficient, the President returns to the holy table and adds more, with these words:

Either

Having given thanks to you, Father, over the bread and the cup according to the institution of your Son, Jesus Christ, on the night that He was betrayed; we pray that you will accept the praise and thanksgiving we offer through Him who said, "Take, eat; this is my Body" (and / or "Drink this; this is my Blood"); Grant that this bread/wine also may be to us His Body/Blood and be received in remembrance of Him.

Or

Hear us, O merciful Father, and with your Word and Holy Spirit, bless and sanctify these gifts of bread and wine, that they also may beunto us the Body and Blood of your dearly beloved Son, Jesus Christ and be received in remembrance of Him.
